Which AI training platforms work in Nigeria?
We checked what 16 AI training and data labelling platforms say on their own pages about Nigeria. Only 6 of them publish any country list, so for the rest the honest answer is "not stated".
- Listed as supported
- Mercor
- Nigeria is on their list of supported countries
- Not on excluded list
- Mindrift
- No full list, but Nigeria is not excluded
- Not supported
- Outlier and AfterQuery Experts
- Nigeria is excluded or missing from their list
- Not stated
- 12 platforms
- No country list on the pages we read
Collected from each platform's public pages. Not tested by Earnington. Being on a list does not guarantee work: projects can still be limited by country, language and skills. "Not stated" does not mean Nigeria is excluded.

How to read this
- Listed as supported: the platform publishes a list of countries workers can join from, and Nigeria is on it.
- Not on its excluded list: the platform only publishes the countries it does not accept. Nigeria is not one of them, which is a good sign but not a promise.
- Not on its supported list: the platform publishes a list of supported countries and Nigeria is missing from it. The platform does not say it accepts Nigeria.
- No country list published: the platform's pages we read do not say. Check with the platform before spending time on an application.
Getting paid matters as much as getting accepted. Check that at least one payout method works in Nigeria before you sign up. The payout methods guide compares the options these platforms use.
